Verruca / Wart Laser Treatment
Warts, also known as verrucae, are common viral skin growths caused by certain strains of the human papillomavirus (HPV). They can appear on the hands, feet and other areas of the body and may vary in size, texture and appearance.
Some warts clear naturally over time, while others can become persistent, uncomfortable or resistant to conventional treatment.
At Parlour, laser treatment may be used to target selected warts by delivering controlled energy into the affected tissue, with the aim of disrupting the wart and supporting the body’s natural clearing process.
Best suited for:
Common warts
Plantar warts / verrucae on the feet
Persistent or recurrent warts
Warts that have not responded well to other treatments
What to expect
Laser energy is directed into the wart in a controlled and targeted way. The treated area may become red, tender, darker or develop a small crust following treatment as the tissue responds.
Some warts may require more than one treatment, particularly if they are larger, deeper or longstanding.
Because warts are viral and can recur, treatment outcomes vary between individuals.
